90-day money-back guarantee. Use it for a full 90 days. If your gums haven’t improved, we’ll refund you.

How to use

Brush your teeth as normal, then rinse. Wet your toothbrush, dip it into the powder, and brush gently along the gumline for 20–30 seconds.

Spit out the excess. Don’t rinse afterwards — leaving a thin layer on the gumline gives the collagen time to absorb. Use twice daily, morning and night.

Fine, unflavored, and non-foaming. It doesn’t replace your toothpaste — it goes on after it.

How it works

Your gums are roughly 90% Type 1 collagen — the scaffolding that keeps tissue thick and anchored to your teeth. After 30 your body makes less of it every year, and by 50 you’re producing around 70% less than you did at 25. The scaffolding thins, and the tissue pulls back.

CollaGum is milled to roughly 1,000 daltons — about 1/300th the size of standard collagen. Small enough to pass into gum tissue instead of sitting on the surface and rinsing away.

Ingredients
  • Tropocollagen Type I (1,000 daltons) — small enough to absorb into gum tissue and signal your cells to rebuild the collagen scaffolding.
  • Nano-hydroxyapatite — remineralizes enamel and seals exposed root surface, which is what causes cold sensitivity.
  • Vitamin C — your body cannot assemble a single collagen fiber without it.
  • Xylitol — balances oral pH and limits harmful bacteria.
  • Calcium carbonate — mineral support for enamel and gum firmness.
  • Magnesium & zinc — cofactors in collagen synthesis and tissue repair.
  • Aloe vera — calms irritated, inflamed gum tissue.
  • Green tea extract — antioxidant support for delicate oral tissue.
  • Sodium bicarbonate — neutralizes acid without abrading enamel.

No sugar, no dyes, no fluoride, no harsh abrasives.

Gum recession before and after 10 weeks

Denise R. · 6110 weeks

Four grafts were booked. I never went through with them.

$800 a graft and I’d been putting it off for a year. Started using this ten weeks before the surgery date, mostly to feel like I was doing something.

At my pre-op he measured, then measured again. Said he wanted to monitor it rather than operate. Still not booked in.

Lower gum recession before and after 12 weeks

Ray M. · 5712 weeks

I’d already tried the Waterpik, the Sensodyne, all of it.

Bottom teeth getting longer for four years. Night guard, sensitive toothpaste, flosser. Numbers went up every visit anyway. 4mm, then 5mm.

Twelve weeks in he measured, paused, did it again. Asked me to write down what I was using.

Canine gum recession before and after 8 weeks

Alanna P. · 468 weeks

Years of brushing too hard wrecked my canine.

It sat way higher than the teeth either side and you could see the yellow root underneath. Cold drinks on that side were the worst part.

Brushed the powder into that one spot twice a day. Eight weeks later the gum has come down over most of the root and it lines up with the rest again.

Gum recession before and after 11 weeks

Diane K. · 5211 weeks

I hated how my bottom teeth looked.

Bottom teeth started looking longer around 50, with little dark triangles between them. I’d stopped smiling with my teeth in photos.

Been told for years my skin was losing collagen. Nobody mentioned it happens in your mouth. At my last clean she said the tissue looked thicker.

Upper gum recession before and after 12 weeks

Mark T. · 6412 weeks

My top teeth were so much longer than they used to be.

Cold drinks made me wince and I’d started chewing on one side without thinking about it.

Sensitivity went first, about three weeks in. By twelve weeks the gumline had come back down. Hygienist charted it as improved.

Root exposure before and after 9 weeks

Cheryl A. · 589 weeks

One of my top front teeth just kept getting longer.

You could see the root on it. First thing I noticed in any photo of myself.

Twenty seconds after brushing, twice a day. Nine weeks later my hygienist measured 2mm of regrowth and said she doesn’t usually see that.

Why gums recede, and what actually rebuilds them (collagen)

Your gums are made mostly of collagen — it’s what keeps them thick, firm and holding onto your teeth.

After 30, your body makes less of it every year, and by 50 you’re producing around 70% less than you did at 25. As it runs down, the tissue thins, loses its grip, and starts to pull back — which is why teeth begin to look longer.

Hard brushing, grinding, menopause and genetics all speed that up. But none of them are the cause. The cause is that your gums are running out of the material they’re built from.

Regular toothpaste only cleans the surface, and collagen pills get broken down in your stomach long before they reach your mouth.

CollaGum works where it matters most — brushed straight into the gumline, right where the tissue is thinning. The collagen and minerals help rebuild and strengthen your gums, keeping your smile firm and supported every day.

Why the collagen you’re already taking never reaches your gums

A scoop in your coffee or capsules from the pharmacy will never get there. Your stomach breaks collagen apart before it reaches your mouth, and your body sends the pieces to your skin and joints instead.

Putting it on doesn’t work either. Regular collagen is 300,000 to 500,000 daltons — far too big to pass into gum tissue. It sits on the surface and rinses away.

CollaGum uses Tropocollagen Type I, broken down to 1,000 daltons — about 1/300th the size. Small enough to actually sink into the gumline, right where it’s needed.

And because you brush it in, it goes straight onto your gums — not swallowed, not spread around the rest of your body.

My two front teeth were the worst of it

Both upper front teeth had pulled back and you could see the darker root above the enamel. My dentist said it was years of brushing too hard and that we'd monitor it. Started this in June. By about eight weeks the gum had come back down over both and now you'd have to look for it.

Bottom teeth don't look stretched anymore

Two of my lower front teeth had that long look and I was self conscious about it. Twelve weeks in and the gumline sits noticeably higher on both. Not perfect but a big difference.

First thing that's actually stopped it

Recession since my late forties. Waterpik, electric brush, prescription toothpaste, cleanings every four months at $400 a go. Went from 3mm to nearly 5mm over six years and every appointment was the same conversation about monitoring it. This is the first thing where the number has gone the other way.

She measured twice because she didn't believe it

I'd been on a three month cleaning schedule for years because of pocketing. At my last visit my hygienist charted the same two sites she always does, paused, and did them again. Both had come down. She asked what I'd changed and wrote the name on my chart.

Caught mine early and glad I did

My dentist pointed out my left canine had started to recede, said brushing too hard, we'd keep an eye on it. Didn't think this was something you dealt with at 36. Ten weeks later the gum has come back down over it and it doesn't look longer than the tooth next to it.

Arrived in three days

Ordered Sunday, had it Wednesday. Jar's nicer than I expected, no smell, no taste to speak of. Only a week in so nothing to report yet but easy enough to remember twice a day.

The black triangles have filled in

Little dark gaps had opened up between my bottom front teeth where the gum had shrunk back. That was the bit I hated in photos. They're not gone but they're much smaller and the gum looks solid again rather than hollowed out.

Quoted $3,400 for grafts. Didn't need them.

Two teeth, just over three thousand, plus taking tissue off the roof of my mouth which I dreaded more than the cost. Used this while I saved up. Twelve weeks later my periodontist re-measured and said he'd rather review it in six months than operate.

Dentist was sceptical until he measured

Told him what I was using and he was polite but clearly unconvinced. Then he probed the two sites he'd been tracking and went quiet. Said keep doing whatever I'm doing.

Bought it for my dad, ended up using it myself

He's 74 and had more or less accepted he'd lose teeth eventually. Two months in his dentist told him the recession hadn't progressed at all, first time in years. He's the one reminding me to reorder now. Apparently this runs in families so I've started using it too.

Gums look thicker along the bottom

Sixty six and I'd written this off as just getting old. Took a couple of months but the gum is visibly fuller along my lower front teeth now.

Menopause did a number on my gums

Nobody tells you it affects your mouth. Everything thinned out at once and my gums pulled back over about eighteen months. Eleven weeks on this and the gumline is fuller than it's been in two years.

Had a graft in 2023, receded next door

Paid for surgery on two teeth and eighteen months later the ones either side started going. Nobody warned me that could happen. Using this now instead of booking another one and the new spots have held steady.

Wish I'd found it two years ago

Ignored mine for far too long thinking it would sort itself out. It doesn't. Ten weeks in and it's improving but there'd have been less to fix if I'd started earlier.

Works, but slower than I expected

Four stars only because I nearly gave up at week two when nothing had happened. Weeks four to six is where the gum started changing. Say upfront it's a three month thing and I'd have been less impatient. On my third jar now.

Frequently Asked Questions

My dentist said gums never grow back. Is that true?

It’s what most people are told, and until recently it was the only honest answer — there was no way to get collagen into gum tissue.

CollaGum doesn’t regrow lost tissue overnight, and nothing does. What it does is give your gums the protein they’re built from, at a molecular size small enough to absorb, so the tissue can thicken and hold its ground again.

I already take collagen. Isn’t this the same thing?

No. Swallowed collagen is broken apart by your stomach and sent wherever your body needs it, which is almost never your mouth.

CollaGum is brushed straight onto the gumline, and it’s hydrolysed to 1,000 daltons — roughly 1/300th the size of standard collagen. That’s what lets it pass into gum tissue instead of sitting on the surface.

How do I use it?

Brush your teeth as normal, then rinse. Wet your toothbrush, dip it into the powder, and brush gently along the gumline for 20–30 seconds.

Spit out the excess but don’t rinse afterwards — leaving a thin layer on the gumline gives the collagen time to absorb. Twice daily, morning and night.

When will I see results?

Most people notice the bleeding stop and sensitivity ease within the first two to three weeks. That’s the tissue calming down.

Visible change to the gumline takes longer — usually 8 to 12 weeks. Gum tissue rebuilds slowly, which is why the guarantee runs a full 90 days.

Is it too late if my recession is already bad?

Worth trying either way. The customers who’ve seen the biggest change were often the ones told surgery was their only option.

If a periodontist has already scheduled a graft, keep the appointment and let them re-measure on the day. That’s their call to make, not ours.

My dentist said I caused this by brushing too hard. Is that true?

Partly — but it’s not the whole story. Hard brushing puts pressure on gum tissue, and thin tissue can’t take it. Healthy, collagen-dense gums withstand imperfect brushing for decades.

So brushing didn’t create the problem, it exposed it. The underlying cause is that your gums are running low on the collagen they’re built from — which is why brushing gentler slows it down but never stops it.

What if I don’t have recession yet?

Then you’re in the best position to use it. Collagen starts declining after 30 whether or not you can see it, and the thinning happens well before the gumline visibly moves.

Plenty of customers start after their dentist mentions early signs — bleeding when flossing, or one tooth starting to look longer than the rest. It’s far easier to hold onto tissue than to rebuild it.

I’ve already had a gum graft. Can I still use it?

Yes. A graft covers recession that already happened, but it doesn’t change why the tissue thinned in the first place — which is why recession often reappears on nearby teeth.

CollaGum works on the underlying tissue, so it’s commonly used after a graft rather than instead of one.

Does it replace my toothpaste, floss or dentist?

None of them. Use your normal toothpaste first, then CollaGum straight after. Keep flossing and keep your cleanings.

Brushing removes bacteria. CollaGum rebuilds tissue. They’re doing two different jobs.

What does it taste like?

Almost nothing. It’s a fine unflavoured powder that doesn’t foam like toothpaste. Sugar-free, fluoride-free, no dyes and no harsh abrasives.

What if it doesn’t work for me?

Use it for the full 90 days. If your gums haven’t improved, email us and we’ll refund you — no need to send the jar back.
