My two front teeth were the worst of it
Both upper front teeth had pulled back and you could see the darker root above the enamel. My dentist said it was years of brushing too hard and that we'd monitor it. Started this in June. By about eight weeks the gum had come back down over both and now you'd have to look for it.

Bottom teeth don't look stretched anymore
Two of my lower front teeth had that long look and I was self conscious about it. Twelve weeks in and the gumline sits noticeably higher on both. Not perfect but a big difference.

First thing that's actually stopped it
Recession since my late forties. Waterpik, electric brush, prescription toothpaste, cleanings every four months at $400 a go. Went from 3mm to nearly 5mm over six years and every appointment was the same conversation about monitoring it. This is the first thing where the number has gone the other way.

She measured twice because she didn't believe it
I'd been on a three month cleaning schedule for years because of pocketing. At my last visit my hygienist charted the same two sites she always does, paused, and did them again. Both had come down. She asked what I'd changed and wrote the name on my chart.

Caught mine early and glad I did
My dentist pointed out my left canine had started to recede, said brushing too hard, we'd keep an eye on it. Didn't think this was something you dealt with at 36. Ten weeks later the gum has come back down over it and it doesn't look longer than the tooth next to it.

Arrived in three days
Ordered Sunday, had it Wednesday. Jar's nicer than I expected, no smell, no taste to speak of. Only a week in so nothing to report yet but easy enough to remember twice a day.

The black triangles have filled in
Little dark gaps had opened up between my bottom front teeth where the gum had shrunk back. That was the bit I hated in photos. They're not gone but they're much smaller and the gum looks solid again rather than hollowed out.

Quoted $3,400 for grafts. Didn't need them.
Two teeth, just over three thousand, plus taking tissue off the roof of my mouth which I dreaded more than the cost. Used this while I saved up. Twelve weeks later my periodontist re-measured and said he'd rather review it in six months than operate.

Dentist was sceptical until he measured
Told him what I was using and he was polite but clearly unconvinced. Then he probed the two sites he'd been tracking and went quiet. Said keep doing whatever I'm doing.

Bought it for my dad, ended up using it myself
He's 74 and had more or less accepted he'd lose teeth eventually. Two months in his dentist told him the recession hadn't progressed at all, first time in years. He's the one reminding me to reorder now. Apparently this runs in families so I've started using it too.

Gums look thicker along the bottom
Sixty six and I'd written this off as just getting old. Took a couple of months but the gum is visibly fuller along my lower front teeth now.

Menopause did a number on my gums
Nobody tells you it affects your mouth. Everything thinned out at once and my gums pulled back over about eighteen months. Eleven weeks on this and the gumline is fuller than it's been in two years.

Second jar ordered
Six weeks in, one canine has visibly improved. Ordering another before I run out.
Had a graft in 2023, receded next door
Paid for surgery on two teeth and eighteen months later the ones either side started going. Nobody warned me that could happen. Using this now instead of booking another one and the new spots have held steady.
Wish I'd found it two years ago
Ignored mine for far too long thinking it would sort itself out. It doesn't. Ten weeks in and it's improving but there'd have been less to fix if I'd started earlier.
Works, but slower than I expected
Four stars only because I nearly gave up at week two when nothing had happened. Weeks four to six is where the gum started changing. Say upfront it's a three month thing and I'd have been less impatient. On my third jar now.
